The Wye Dean Wellbeing Message
"It is the mission of Wye Dean Wellbeing to provide an easily accessible platform and directory of wellbeing practitioners and their services in the Royal Forest of Dean, Wye Valley and surrounding areas.
An ambition of the group is to provide an online resource to better inform and educate people about alternative thinking and practices.
The fountain of youth is a forest. Trees cast off years and grant health and cheer, or so transcendentalist Ralph Waldo Emerson claimed in his 1836 essay “Nature.”
”In the woods,” he wrote, “I feel that nothing can befall me.... which nature cannot repair.”
Using the Forest of Dean as our base but operating across the uk we have a growing number of people who offer wellbeing services and who are primarily concerned with a state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy.
"An improvement in the individuals's well-being," is our concern."
Being based in the heart of the forest is an added bonus and being part of an informal group of like minded people allows me to benefit from shared resources.
