COUNSELLING

There are many different approaches to therapy, and it would be impossible to be trained in them all! Each person will have their own personal needs in therapy I therefore work to fit the need of the person – whatever that approach may my approach is person centered, this makes the therapy I offer very unique and individual to each person.

I offer sessions to individuals, couples, and young people.

ABOUT ME

I have a background in working in mental health nursing and supporting individuals in work and education – it was this work that took me to train as a therapist in 2009.

Many barriers’ people faced in my previous work help me recognise some form of therapy intervention was needed to find tools and techniques to manage their personal situation better.

Level 5 Post Qual Diploma in working with children and Adolescents.

BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling Level 7 Diploma Counselling Supervision (NCPS)

In my spare time I like walking, cycling, swimming, and exploring – often taking time away to be in and around nature enjoying its beauty.
